Android web browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, and Samsung’s Internet, let you create shortcuts for your album on your home screen. When you tap one of these shortcuts, the online album will open in the browser window rather than a browser tab. This page shows you how to create a shortcut to your album on your Android’s home screen.
Chrome #
- Open your album in Chrome.
- Tap the three-dot icon in the upper-right.
- Find and select “Add to Home screen” from the menu.
- Optionally, you can change the shortcut’s name in the pop-up that appears, then tap “Add.”
- Select “Add to home screen” to add the icon to the next open spot on the home screen.
Firefox #
- Open your album in Firefox.
- Tap the three dot icon in the lower right.
- Scroll down and tap “Add to Home screen.”
- Optionally, you can change the shortcut’s name in the pop-up that appears.
- Tap “Add” then select “add to home screen” to place it automatically.
Edge #
- Open your album in Edge browser
- Tap the “…” icon in the center of the navigation bar.
- Scroll down and tap “Add to Phone.”
- Optionally, you can change the shortcut’s name in the pop-up that appears.
- Tap “Add” then select “Add to home screen” to add the icon.
Samsung #
- Open your album in Samsung browser
- Tap the three-line menu ☰. It’s the three horizontal lines at the bottom-right corner.
- Tap “Add page to“. This option has a plus (+) sign above it. A list of locations will appear.
- Tap “Home screen on the menu. It’s toward the bottom of the list.
- Optionally, you can change the shortcut’s name in the pop-up that appears.
- Tap “Add” to add the icon on your home screen.
Brave #
- Open a website in Brave.
- Tap the three dot icon in the lower right.
- Scroll down and tap “Add to Home screen.”
- Optionally, you can change the shortcut’s name in the pop-up that appears, then tap “Add.”
- Select “Add to home screen”
